I recognise and understand that your personal data is your own.  This policy sets out how I use your data and the control you have over it.

In short, if you haven’t given me permission to use your data, I won’t.

If you disagree with any of these policies, you should not use this site.  By browsing our site, you are accepting these terms.

Access and correction of your personal data

You have the right to access the data I hold on you in many circumstances and if needed, I will do so free of charge.

If I feel a request is abusing this system (e.g. if you are making repeat or unreasonable requests), I may charge a fee to cover administrative costs.

Before providing access to your data, I will ask for proof of identity and sufficient data about your interactions with me in order to verify that the request is actually from you.  Only then will I provide you with the data.

If any of the data I hold on you is inaccurate or out of date, you may ask for this to be updated.

If you would like to exercise these rights, please email your request to alexandrawalton.music@gmail.com.  You may also request this data over the phone, however I will still ask you to email confirmation of your request.  If possible, please email your request from the email address I have on file for you.

Right to stop or limit our processing of your data

You have the right to object to me processing your personal information if I am not entitled to use it anymore.  If this is the case, you may ask that I delete your data, although how quickly this is done will depend on what interactions you have had with me.

For example, if you have not yet used my services, I will happily remove your data.  However if you have, then I may need to keep certain information for obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.  Please contact me to discuss this in more detail.

Data I collect will be stored for as long as needed in order to provide an effective tuition service.

Your data will never be sent to third parties unless I have your consent.
